William Shannon Willis

William Shannon Willis, of Duncan, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 2, 1971 to William LeeRoy and Wilma Mae (Perry) Willis. He passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Oklahoma City with his family at his side. He was 53.

Arrangements are under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

William graduated from Haileyville High School in Haileyville, Oklahoma. He had been employed as a cook in a fast-food restaurant. He was always making people laugh. He loved spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, William is survived by his sons: Clinton Lanford and Dillon Lanford of McAlester; brothers: Jerry and wife Lynn Willis and Dennis Willis all of Duncan; sister, LaTonna Joyce of Lindsay; and nieces and nephews: Crystal Willis, Celeste Nail and husband Johnathan, Yolanda Lewis, LaTonya Smith and TJ Joyce and wife Keri.
