William "Bill" Lee Wilson Obituary

William Lee "Bill" Wilson, 80, of Marlow, Oklahoma, passed peacefully into his heavenly home on Friday, May 1, 2026. Bill was born on July 21, 1945, in Orange, Texas, to Addie Wilson and Maxine (McCall) Martin.

Bill spent his working years as a skilled coppersmith in the oilfield, a trade he took great pride in. Outside of work, he embraced life with a spirit of adventure. He loved fishing, traveling, taking cruises, visiting the casino, and-above all-spending time with the people he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tavia (Fletcher) Wilson; his son, Jeffrey Allen Atkins; his brother, Jamie Wilson; and his sister, Debbie Blalack.

Bill is survived by his sister, Lisa Miller and her husband Gene; nieces: Cathy Arrowood, Emily Arrowood, Isabella Arrowood, and Macalah Miller; his aunt, Lora Dell Howard; and special friends, Charlotte and Ronnie Zumwalt, who held a cherished place in his life.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
